Summarize this week: hot and very productive. Dad: (and Dave) had meetings almost every morning early or late night about DBat to really get construction moving and loan docs set up and start thinking about marketing. Crazy it’s happening! OC Tanner paid for families to gk to Lagoon Friday all day. We had such a fun day! Lucas went on Cannibal and freaked out as he got buckled in. But he did it—although he was crying. Then he went 3 more times. He is just some Kind of kid! Mom: while kids camp is running at our house and I need to be around for emergencies I try to have projects. So j made a goal to fix the walls and repaint the 2 downstairs bedrooms and all our outdoor furniture. And we did it!! The rooms look soooo much better. Aubrie: was down in Cedar City the last two weeks as an FSY counselor and it felt super fulfilling. She’s super excited about a boy named Aron. They’re going out again this weekend when she gets back home. (She’s been gone almost a month) Hallie: kids camp at our house most do the week. She always knocks it out of the park. Several parents told me or texted me how much their kid was loving it. It’s a great way to earn money for Hallie too. She is so organized with it and patient with the kids. She just flew to Orlando tonight for volleyball nationals. And she finally reached out to the eastern AZ coach to go down there for summer camp and see about playing vb there. Same coach as when Karla played vb there which is crazy. Blake: got odd jobs here and there this week. Matt Nielsen has him work about once a week helping with house flips. Mostly yard work. He did a day serving IC at this is the place and made $120 for the day. His team lost first round in league tournament and play Tuesday to get back in (double elimination). 🤞🏻 Clara: she had her big dance recital at Kingsvury Hall Friday and Saturday. She just eats the whole thing up. She loves it all. It was a full two hours of Frozen and she and Abby were ice skaters and reindeer for the show. It was very entertaining. She and Abby also out on a dance camp for 12 kids for 3 days with a dance they performed for parents on the final day that the girls had choreographed. They are 2 impressive little ladies. Very responsible and creative. Lucas: just gets after life. He js on his 4th week of mowing our lawn and he js getting for the most part independent doing it. We went and set up a savings account at the bank so he can save 1/2 (I told him if you make big kid money than you have to save like a big kid). He’s making $10 a week. He can’t edge yet. We went to youth conference ALL day Saturday. Almost 150 youth went! That’s a big deal around here:) it was a fun day outside and playing. Olympic park, service project, swimming at the lake lots of games/eating etc. I love our stake!
