Little CJ-cub

My nephew is just too cute. He was born a few weeks ago and his given name is Carl Stephen Haynie IV. Which is pretty cool. 4 carls now! They call him CJ--and thus he will be known throughout his life :). here is a picture I "borrowed" from their blog.

and if you were wondering if his sister EmmaJane (EJ if you will) is just as cute...she is. And they don't seem to look very much alike as of yet. They are about 14 months apart I believe. Too cute!! Don't you want to squeeze her!

and the GOOD news is, we will be living 2.5 hours from them once we move to GA! YEAH!

Ryan is the MAN!!!!

Happy Thirtieth Birthday Ryan Jensen!!! He is a real champion. We did "i love yous" which is a tradition of the Jensens where the birthday person sits in a chair and everyone gets to tell them why they love them. It was fun to hear--love to golf with him, he has so much integrity, his sense of humor was mentioned quite a few times, etc. I can't believe that he is 30 (or that I will be this year) but he doesn't look a day over 29 in my opinion. :) JK Ryan. I hope he had a fun day yesterday!

Aubrie thinks she is a "Super" and she puts capes on her animals to be little "Supers". She literally wore this from waking up to going to sleep (and has one on again today) :)

Ryan and I's sisters making Birthday signs for the birthday boy :)
The kids stayed and had pizza while all the adults went to dinner (it was SOOOO nice to just talk). Then we came home to celebrate with the kids too. I asked Ryan what dessert he wanted and I would make it--any in the whole world... notice the yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting. So easy to please :) You might also notice that we had to buy stock in a birthday candle company.

and that the Provo Fire Dept came a knockin' :) Seriously Ryan! (I will say that he blew them all out with ONE blow-someone must have played the trumpet :))

Saw these on another blog...

Such creative ideas for kids rooms. I love so many things about all of them. Maybe one day I'll implement some of the ideas--but for now., sure fun to look at.

That baby safety pin on the wall is just way too cute. I love the idea of using one of those paper lanterns from IKEA and using red yarn to make it look like a baseball--might have to do that one.

Cute stripes painted on the bed. Not sure about those curtains. Little over the top for me.
That brick isn't real, but really adds to the look of it. Love it.

not sure.....

He was cracking himself...and me up. He thought this was so fun!

wahooooooooo

Jensen family picture that we took this weekend in AZ.

So, if you zoom in nice and close you can see that my sis-in-law erika (short blonde hair in the back) is cheesin it and really excited about something. The rest of us are just smiling at the camera, oblivious....

What is she trying to tell us?

And...We're Off....

Ryan has officially accepted his admission to University of Georgia's MBA program!

Pretty crazy, it has all happened so fast. He will be doing their 11 month accelerated program starting May 27th (that is 2008 not 2009 :)). So, hopefully this little girl comes out earlier than later! He will most likely leave and take our stuff out with him a few days before school starts and then the kids and I will come a month later to let our baby grow a little before we travel across the USA--just an idea.

I have to say that we have loved living here in Utah so much and are going to miss so many people--it is just sad to think about. And at the same time, we love adventures and Athens seems like such a great place (Ryan went out there last weekend). So, here's to an adventure!

To all our friends and family here in Utah--we sure love all of you so much and will be sad to not live as close.

Not too many pictures of late--I'm not as good about remembering to take pictures and Ryan has been gone a fair amount. So, no Easter picture except for the neighborhood easter outing (but I will tell you--they looked pretty snazzy :))

anyway, here are a few:

Just the normal spring attire....

Easter huntin'

Blake, Aubrie and Robbie sitting down to partake :) Is it just me or was Easter a little more sugar happy than even Halloween. That bunny.....

I am not sure how she became so spiritual :) AND cool at the same time...

Aubrie's most recent favorite trick--to chain one of us to a door in the house.
and of course she is naked in this picture. I'm with her though--who likes clothes really?
