You are a bright spot in my thoughts today.  Its so easy to only have good feelings and thoughts toward a child that is serving the Lord full-time and I only get the highlights of your life  .  Other children on the other hand.... I talked to Shelley on Thursday and told her that I think we are at a wrapping up stage on her home.  I am fast and good at organizing and that is what I should stick to.  I think having me come every week and be able to finish and stick to projects nad see movement for her home/life is easy to just want me to never finish. She has remodeling and painting her whole house and other decorating etc projects that I am capable to do and do all the time at our home, but there are others much more equipped and skilled at those things.  It was a bit uncomfortable of a conversation but I would love to move forward and start working with someone else to do what we have done to Shelleys house.  All the major parts of her home (mud room, cleaning closet, 5 bedrooms, garage and shed, storage room/pantry, kitchen and playroom and upstairs closets--they've all been decluttered and re-organized and function.  One thing I have beem mulling over in my mind is how to help others "maintain" their home once we have organized it all.  Two ideas that I have formulated is 1-everyone that lives in the home needs a "tour" so that how its organized and where each things "place" is they are shown.  Everyone needs to be on the same page even if they aren't the best at maintaining its a good palce to start with everyone knowing where everything SHOULD go.   2-Have a refresh HOUR every week.  Just one hour.  And go through each of those 12 zones.  Spend one hour refreshing ONE zone each week.  And that means each of those 12 zones will get refreshed several times a year and they will never get bad.   We have to live and we don't live perfectly so things get stacked up in storage rooms or thrown into the corner of the garage etc.  But if they are refreshed back to everything being in their spot several times a year it never feels unmanageable.  Anyway, not that any of that is pertinent to you right now, but I wanted to share.  Friday I was taking Hallie and friends to go look for dresses for Sweethearts (they all had a spa day date with each other and went as a big group).   THis is the last dance Hallie isn't old enough to go with a date ;). I invited one of the other moms to come go with me to take them just trying to be more social.  It was Jamie Olives mom and it was super fun to hang out with her and chat a lot.  She does so much (she is currently skiing, taking a yoga class, and does tap dance class/performances).  I love hearing about all the things she tries and does.  She always says, "how do you do it, I only have 1 child and it is so time consuming" and I just chuckle and think to myself that is why I don't have many hobbies right now;) and I am very content with that.  Mostly.  Saturday it was so warm so dad and I went to play pickleball again and took the 3 youngest.  Lucas says pickleball is his favorite sport.  He never wants to stop.  Ever.  Blake and I are about the same level now and it was super fun at the end we played 1v1 and I beat him by 2 points.  Barely.  We ran home to feed all the girls before the dance and kind of help Hallie get ready and then we went out to dinner with Cheziks and we laughed so hard the whole time.  Dan is just so opinionated and has so many things he feels strongly about. It was a lot of fun to hang out with them.  Today at church was ward conference and dad spoke about the miracle of the Book of Mormon.  It was excellent!  Such a good talk and not so steeped in "principles" but the practicality of reading the Book of Mormon.  It was well done.  I just shared the Google doc with you of his talk so you can take a look at it during study time if you want.   We got to hang out with my parents several times this week.  We spent the night last weekend when Calls were here and then on Thurs since the younger kids were out of school we went to run errands with them, go to a history museum and also to NPS.  I just love being around them so much.  They are just good to their very core.  I learn a lot whenever I can talk to them and feel grounded again.  I am lucky to have them as parents.  They are seriously thinking about Spain as a mission this summer.   I better go take Sandie on a walk, she's been inside all day and I need to go be in the warm sun.   I love you Hermana Jensen.  I think about you so often and have been thinking alot about the opportunity you have to teach. Teaching the gospel is just the best.  I hope you get to teach a whole family soon.  It is so neat to see them go through that experience together with so much more support for each other.  It is amazing.  Hearing about how you pray each day in the closet for a long time and how you are setting good goals and trying to hard to be better just makes me feel so happy inside for you.  You are so loved and such a good person.  I love you!! Mom
the attached picture was the day we hung out with grandma and grandpa and one of the things we did was went to the house closer to downtown where I was born.

Happy Sabbat

Dad: Pretty full week. My first business trip with my new job to Vancouver, Canada was a success. My presentation went well (there were about 28 people at the business luncheon) and I was able to attend a business dinner that night with with some of our sales team and a big prospect, which was a great experience. Vancouver is a beautiful city! I went on a few runs in some cold, but sunny weather to explore parts of the city which was amazing. I head to Atlanta this week and Houston the following week to do the same presentation at similar events. Keep me (and mom who is having to shoulder more of the load at home while I'm away) in your prayers! This past week, we did a formal dinner for the youth activity we combined with a few other wards in our stake) and taught them some etiquette around formal dining. It was pretty fun. We have some good youth in our stake. Had a fun date with mom yesterday playing pickleball (it was slightly warmer yesterday - 45 degrees) and grabbing dinner at Nuan's Thai Kitchen. Robbie and Cohen went on a double date last night and actually brought their dates home to hang out with us for oreo shakes and to visit for a bit before they took their dates home. I think it is the first time Robbie has ever included us in one of his dates for any significant portion of time. I was glad he did, but it has made me appreciate how you did that so often during your high school dating years. Speaking of Robbie, he played the organ today in church and did an excellent job. I'm glad he is willing to play the hymns in church. Hallie is in AZ at a volleyball tournament, Blake's life is full of sports and art, Clara is working through her relationship with her teacher at school, and Luke is growing up so fast. Being the bishop is a lot of work and fills up so much time each day -- but it is fulfilling and a pleasure to serve. I hope you are doing well and that you are finding success in inviting others to Christ. Love you! Mom:Today has just been an awesome day.  First of all, it's sunny. Finally.  And second, I got to play pickleball with dad yesterday and we went to eat Thai food at Nuans.  I love dates with him. And this morning Blake and I did the 7th email you sent to him which was the first of 2 emails of miracles that Christ performed.  My big takeaway was that what we call miracles (which means things that seem miraculous or "impossible") or "magic" like walking on water are actually not miracles, they never defy the laws of heaven.  Ever.  Or God would cease to be God.  So, that means that how Christ walked on water and didn't sink, just isn't known to us right now.  Not because it's impossible, but just not known.  YET.  And how many more things in my life seem impossible or so painful because they are "not known yet".  I just don't have full understanding.  Anyway, thank you so much for putting all of that study into creating a study of Christ's life and sharing with us.  It's been awesome to do.  Sunday School was taught by Katie Poulsen today.  She is my favorite.  She creates such a comfortable atmosphere in Sunday school and so there is amazing discussion pretty much every time I have ever been in her class the last few years.  The part I loved most today was the discussion around "happiness". How to "live after. the manner of happiness" And. in 2 Nephi 5 gives us so many ideas of how to be truly happy. v. 6, Nephi and his family very deliberaltely (and probably painfully) decided to surround themselves with people that would build. a good community.  They were believers and just good people (members. of the Church dont necessarily have the corner market on goodness dad said today in sunday school). v.7 took tents into wilderness  (one brother in Sunday school said--that's the most obvious way to be happy...camping)v.10 kept commandments and laws IN ALL THINGSv. 11 sowed seed, reaped abundance, raise flocks, amnimals--THEY WORKED.  Someone pointed out, often when we are down, we can work with our hands (in so many different ways) and something about working with our hands grounds us.v 12 brought and taught, studied the plates of brassv. 13 multiplied. in the landv. 14&15  Nephi took Labans sword and studied how it was made and tehn copied it.  He was so resourceful with what he'd been given. v.16. built and served in templev.17 industrious--being idle too often is so hard to our Spiritsv. 19&20. be careful of who is in leadership.  It is so hard to be in countries or communities where leaders do not allow freedom or goodness to be foundational. it greatly affects happiness  And a reminder that Heavenly Father and Mother and Jesus are happy because they are constantly looking outward.  It is one of the true great blessings of being a missionary.  So much opportunity to look outward. We live happier and more content when we do.   I attached a few pics of this week. Robbie was called as ward organist till he leaves and he played so well today. Best time yet.  Brady Allred gave him some tips beforehand. Robbie doesn't realize how lucky he is to have so many resources like Brady around to help. It's like when you both got to go to a small workshop taught by Richard Elliott the greatest organist In the world and I had to force you ;) I snapped this picture while Robbie was playing postlude music and he was having Lucas help him play the pedals.  It was actually so cute and Lucas loved it. He would point with one foot which pedal to play and then tell him when to play it and switch. I don't know how he was focusing well enough;) We bought new carpet for the upstairs yesterday on a whim because it was so inexpensive.  We went with Eva/Wade and my mom and dad.  I will be so glad to have new carpet in our bedrooms.  We needed it. Also, we spent Thursday night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We cooked and brought dinner over to them so they could keep preparing to go to Japan the next morning.  I can't believe they are gone for 18 months again. We visited for awhile, grandma, Mariam and Grant all got blessings, and we helped clean and go through things that needed to still be taken care of.  It was a special night. Dad, took them to the airport the next morning at 5:30 in the morning. They have arrived safely and are living in downtown Tokyo in a hotel for now. Alright, I love. you. We think and pray for you all the time. Talk to you tomorrow! Robbie: yoyo what the fetch is good I played the organ in church today was pretty lit didn't mess up suprisingly, but yea just been flipping bikes and playin some baseball. I went on a date with maddie last night which mom works for her mom and mom has been asking me to go on a date with her for fo ever so I did and she was actually super fun to hang with and super easy to talk to just a good all-around girl. But yea thats kinda the update just been doing my internship too im ready to graduate, be done with high school anyways love u so much - bobbie p Hallie:  Is in PHX all weekend and Monday to play in that tournament for volleyball.  Paige happened to be in the same location for a soccer tournament so they got to hang out a bit.  Blake: hi Aubrie this week I've done nothing really. I've done a bunch of crafts with Clara and Lucas. me and Hallie made a cake for Mom for Valentine which you'll see in the pics we also went to the skate park like three times. hope u love it there I wish I could show u how much  I love u and miss ulove u so much Aubrie Clara: hi Aubrie I'm so excited for tomorrow because Hannah, Sydney and Chad are coming to go to the temple it's crazy Hannah is already old enough to go to the temple  so crazy so crazy!!!! love ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Lucas: I can't wait til summer to play soccer (do you remember when I told you that I scored 3 goals and Ira scored 2 goals in one game?), swim at the rec center and jump off the blue diving board and go down the slide. Yesterday, we went to the rec center and rode scooters on the skate park. I also played pickleball with mom and dad. I gave a talk in primary last Sunday about choices and opposites and mom helped me. Love you and miss you!    Tyler: ¿¿¿Que tranza carnal???

Valentines Day email to the Hermana

DAD -- Hey Hermana Aubs! I'll do my update in reverse...we just wrapped up Sunday dinner (short ribs + mashed potatoes), having a good time looking at all the family pictures on our wall and talking about where each was taken. Prior to dinner, we had "Come, Follow Me" together and studied 2 Nephi 3, and read about all of the prophecies that Joseph of Egypt had about Joseph Smith. Not sure that the kids got much out of it (per usual), but we tried. Mom and I get so frustrated when especially the older kids don't try to put anything into it. Someday, you will understand when you are a parent.  :) After church, our ward held a "Linger, Longer" just to allow everyone to socialize. It was actually a great turn out and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was suggested by our Ward Council and turned out awesome. We'll probably do it every other month this year since we are the last ward to meet in the building. Earlier this morning, we went to hear Grandma & Grandpa Jensen give their "farewell" talks before they leave for Japan later this week. Grandma and I played a piano/organ duet of "We'll Bring the World His Truth" which was a perfect follow-up to Grandma's talk because she spoke about the armies of Helaman and the covenants that their fathers had made (and kept) and then the covenants that their sons made (and kept). It was so good. On Friday and Saturday, Mom and I went with Luke and Clara to watch Hallie in her volleyball tournament being held in Logan (we stayed with Mom's great aunt and uncle, Tia Chita and Ferrill, who live in Logan near Utah State's campus - such amazing people). Anyway, Hallie's team had some ups and downs but ultimately qualified as the #2 seed in the lower bracket for the single elimination part of the tournament. Her team earned a first-round bye and then had to play a team in the semi-finals they had previously lost to in pool play. Hallie and her team played out of their minds and beat them in two straight sets and then in the finals had to play the #1 seed which was a really solid team. They had lost to this team a few hours earlier in the last game of pool play but they continued playing so awesome and won two straight sets that were both really tight. It was SO FUN! At the end, all the parents and fans for RADIATE all lined up and gave them high fives. We were very proud of Hallie and her team. Well, that's my update on the last 3-4 days. I'm traveling this week to present at my first work event in Vancouver, Canada. I'm pretty nervous but excited for the challenge as well. I hope your week has been so great. We are excited to talk with you and hear all about it! MOM -- Well I dont know what to write now for updates, I am the last one to type today;).   Hallie has another tournament in PHX this coming weekend and I am debating about driving down for it with the younger kids.  They don't have school the whole next week and spending a few extra days in warm AZ with family after her tournament is over sounds pretty nice.  We didn't realize when we said yes to this tournament (and Hallie said she would play in this tournament but wouldn't play Sunday) that the Sunday was the 2nd day of the tourney instead of the last day and so she is missing almost 1/2 the games of the whole weekend and it feels pretty lame to spend the time and money to do go to it.  Anyway, it is what it is at this point.  I hope Hallie doesnt get pressured to play.  One cool thing is that Paige has a soccer tournament in PHX the exact same weekend as Hallie and they will all be at the Hatches for Sunday when they both are skipping their games.  They are pretty excited about that and it feels like a tender mercy for both of them honestly.   I have been loving 2 Ne chapter 2 this week and gotten into studying the principle of "opposition" and having agency and how absolutely essential choice is to our eternal salvation.  I love the scriptures!  Maybe I'll screen shot some of my notes from thsi week to send to you.  Syd said a few years ago in SUnday school that the way for us all to "short circuit" the pride cycle, meaning not having to be compelled to be humble (liek we so often are) is through the Word.  The scriptures humble us as we study them and allow us to have humiliy and a soft heart which obviously makes sense but sure was an aha moment for me to place an even higher value on the Book of Mormon and STUDYING it.  You are inspiring me every week with your humility, your goals, your excitement for teaching.  I can't wait to talk to you!  HALLIE -- What's good, sista? M and D already gave most of the updates but yeah I had a two-day tourney this weekend, and it was a blast, but I am exhausted! (we played three games friday and basically 8 games on saturday, it was a little different but adds up to eight two-set games)  which was crazy, but the adrenaline kept us going through it all. Can;t wait to tell u abt it in more detail tomorrow! and to just catch jup haha. hows it been in dc? getting any colder or js staying the same ol fridged place? Ive been super wacky here, with it snowing on and off, and then sunny the next day its crazy. uhmmm midterms are rn and Im 99.99% sure I aced my math test but ill lyk when I find out for sure, mayvbe I jus have a bigger ego than I thought ahaha. anywho did u get our letter and package? Happy valentines day! Pretty exciting. Dad's leaving tmr and he'll be back Wednesday morning, so we'll see him after school and stuff so it should be great. Anywho I rly miss ya aubs and also I expect a response to my letter when I call u tmr...unless you havent gotten it yet in which case ill just assume its a yes ;) LOVE YOU!! BLAKE -- Hi Aubrie, the spoon I made is pretty random but I made it in school and I thought u could use it for soup or other things. the necklace I made is also random but I thought u would like it. it might be small but u could just put another link on it. Hallie had a volleyball tourney and the fam went to. Me and Bob stayed at our house and we hung out with each other. we hung out with some of his friends the first day and the second day we went skiing after Robbie had baseball, the snow was so good and it was so fun to hang out with Robbie just him and me. also before we hung out with his friends I had a party with my friends. and after we went skiing I had another party with my friends. LOVE YOU SO SO SO SO SO MUCHO and happy valentines Day THOMY GUN (Thomas) -- Hi Aubrie! so good to talk to you again I have MISSED YOU SO MUCH and can't wait for you to come home or when I see you next. I love you soo much. and hope you would like to know that I had a good taco yesterday Love you! JAMES -- HI THIS IS JAMES I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A G-GREAT TIME!!!!!! I AM GOING TO NEW YORK FOR A BASEBALL TORNIMENT.  CLARA -- Hi Aubrie  . I can't believe Grandma and Grandpa Jensen are about to leave on a mission . I went to Hallie's volleyball tournament it was sooooooooo fun especially when they won!!!!!!!!!! we got ice cream after at Aggie's icecream   LOVE YA SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS. HAPPY VALENTINE LUCAS -- Grandma and g

Dad: We had a full weekend watching Hallie play in her volleyball tournament. Her team is getting better and better and Hallie is becoming a force on the court. We signed up Hallie for BYU volleyball camp this coming summer. It's so fun to watch her progress. Robbie taught young mens and Mom taught young womens. I really didn't get to hear either because Luke had some stomach issues and needed to be taken home from church (he's fine but clearly has a bug of some kind). Ithen both Mom and Robbie went to mission prep where mom facilitated the lesson/discussion and I cooked dinner (with help from the rest of the kids) for the sister missionaries who joined us later this evening. Now, we're all playing card games while taking turns typing this email to you :) Grandma and Grandpa Jensen wrapped up their first week in the MTC and we got to see them briefly the other night. It was fun to hear them share about their experiences thus far and the other senior missionaries they are meeting. Crazy to think they will be on their way to Japan in 3 weeks. Work is challenging - in good ways. I've been working on a presentation for the past few months since starting and I'll be delivering that presentation to another internal department this week (I'm pretty nervous, to be honest), then starting in mid-February I'll deliver that presentation in the following locations through June: Vancouver (Canada), Houston, New Jersey, Minneapolis, Boston, Toronto (Canada), India (various cities still TBD), and Dallas. We knew that this job would have more travel and over the next few months that will definitely be the case. It'll be hard to leave Mom and the kids so much but I'm hoping to eventually include them at the tail-end of some of the trips, where possible. Increased work travel is hard on everyone. Please keep mom and I and our family in our prayers. I was reminiscing with Mom this morning about all of our favorite moments and trips together (i.e. Simple things like sitting on our chairs in the front of our house watching a sunset or the kids playing, going to the beach as a family in New Hampshire and talking on the way home after all you kids fell asleep in the car after a long day of playing on the beach, laughing on trips together when we traveled to Yellowstone, Hawaii, the US Virgin Islands, the Black Hills of North Dakota, and Europe, our family trip to Florida during your senior year, etc.). So many great moments together. You have a one-in-a-million mother. She is incredible. I am so blessed to have her as #1 in my life. I hope being away at college and on a mission has helped you realize just how lucky you are to have her as your mom. Hope you are doing well. We pray for you all the time and think about you more than you realize. We are proud of how you are digging into serve Heavenly Father and His children in the D.C. area. Keep staying "anxiously engaged in a good cause"! PS - Just sent you a separate email with some pictures from recent family happenings. Mom: The two new sister missionaries in our stake just left after having dinner at our house. One is from Fort Worth TX and the other is one week into her mission from Finland. Both seem pretty awesome. Of course it made us talk and think a lot about you. There is so much power in being a missionary. You are set apart from the world. You are making these tweaks every day that just put you more and more firmly on God's team. You are doing a great job of being an instrument Aubrie. Willing to be molded and to be willing to change and do differently. That humility will require a lot of you and it will change you and make you into an immovable convert. We are so proud and grateful to get to watch the process happening from a distance. Today I taught YW about Nephi's vision. I always like teaching youth. They were not very chatty today I am guessing because the stake YW presidency was in the room and it made everyone be more quiet. Some of the questions that we discussed was "why was it so valuable for Nephi to see all those things in his vision that would happen years and thousands of years after he had died" and "what did Nephi tell his brothers (1 NE 15:8) was the most important thing they could do?" (INquire of the Lord). And we talked about what it means in 1 Ne 8:33 to "heed them not" What that looks like. How to be okay with "looking naive or innocent" or babyish when you are religious--how to be okay and even thrive when you feel like you are on an island by yourself. This afternoon I was facilitating mission prep and we were talking about temples and how to prepare and what benefits it has, how to feel about going, what you wear, what garments are for, etc. The last time I facilitated mission prep I challenged everyone to read the Book of Mormon every day for the next 45 days until I did again. I took the challenge too and several of the youth took the challenge. It was awesome. I am glad to be around the youth as much as possible I love them. I told Dad I would be very mad if he released me out of young women. It is where I want to be serving. We sent a loaf of bread and jar of jam with the sisters tonight and I had to clarify with them. I said our daughter told me that a member sends her home with a loaf of bread every week and she doesn't know what to do with it ;) They said they want the homemade bread! Ha! Also our fridge broke this wweek which was a little stressful. We spent a lot of time on FB marketplace trying to find a good used one. WE found one and its back in business. Hallie had an awesome weekend of VB. Shell have to tell you about it! I am so excited to talk to you tomorrow! momma Robbie: Well we back at it again don't know the last time I updated you but I only got school on "A" days now so I'm just doing my internship on b days. So school honestly is kinda slowing down, I definitely got that senioritis, im soooo ready to be done with all this stupid drama. I've gone on a couple more dates wit Jane, honestly don't know how I feel about her trying to figure out what the move is you know. There is a chance I might be a varsity captain on the baseball team not for sure tho. I got that summer job at the ranch in Idaho I'll be doing with Landon, so technically I'm moving out in May. It's really crazy to be honest. I'll be taking care of animals moving pipe. Im gonna be a farm country boy. It honestly is sad too leave my friends but also I'm just kinda wanting to be done with the high school thing right now i guess if that makes sense. I also am playing on a junior jazz team and I've loved going to the Cwood basketball games, cuz were cookin rn. But I'll def miss the fam. So yea thats kinda my life right now miss u mucho let's talk tomorrow. Hallie: can't wait to call u tmr haha. I really miss u aubs! I pray for you every night, that you will have the spirits guidance, and will have ppl to teach, etc. (which from what youve told us sounds like that is all happening accordingly :)). Ok updates...I had two vball tourneys alreayd. one was like two weeks ago and it was rly a great tourney especially for a first one. This last one this last fri and sat was a lot longer and tiring cuz it was two days yk so I was super tired and am still very sore and recovering but its right backk to practice and work tmr so ig I have to get over it soon hjaha. but yeah I had some great kills.hits in the tourney AND I HAD A PANCAKE IN THE GAME! (thats where u dive and if ur still not there in time u put ur hand flat on the grounf anf it pops it up. It was honestly super dope im ngl). Anyways ive been keeping all my healthy habits minus the cutting off the sugar thinf hehe shh but yeah results r showin which is rly rewarding honestly. Uhmmmm idk what I showed u last of my room but progress has slowed again cuz I can only really work on it tuesdays and weekends but I had the tourney, but well get there! Oh! and I officially joined track. I can only go to one of three practices during the week cuz the other two are on vball and work days so that doesn't work but practice was dope, I learned a lot just in a few short hours I was there. It should help. me get quicker in vball too, which I need. Anyways, feelin kinda lonely 'round valentino but yk what can ya do? haha. Oh remind me to tell u abt one guy from track. hahaha. anyways me and my friends were thinking we'd js ditch all our guy frineds and all do a girls day and valentines dance "date" all together which would be so fun, and like play hide and go seek in ikea and stuff it would be so fun. Anyways, yeah I cant wait to call u and catch up over the phone. I should be able to talk for a bit in the morning and after school. Love u mucho!!!!! ❤️❤️ Blake: Hi Aubrie, this past few weeks I've missed you so much, listening to Kalisi and Afton talk about you made me miss you even more🥲❤️. This week I subbed for a junior jazz team, they had all the kids from my school team. I hope everything is going well for you in DC. LOVE YOU SO SO SO SO SO MUCH. PS. thank you so much for the study you send. Clara: hi Aubs I miss you sooooooo much the last couple of days I've been trying to fall asleep and then I think of you and start crying I love you soo much Lucas: I have been a little sick lately. I threw up a few times on Friday and had my first traumatic experience with diarrhea that hit during primary (luckily, Dad helped me out). We played "Nertz" tonight as a family and I loved it! I have been playing legos a lot with Clara lately. We had a family night lesson where Mom and I drew a picture of "Lehi's Dream". I had a piano lesson with Grandma before she left on her mission. I always pray for you, Jack, and Olivia. Love you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ L. O. V. E. Y. O. U. S. O. M. U. C. H.
AMBER It's been a great week.  First of all Grant Corbitt Johnson was born! Two weeks early. Mariam went into labor after her water broke at Savers. All is well. He came home on oxygen but he seems to be doing well. He is super tiny. 5 lbs and 8 ounces. My highlights were yesterday I got to hang out with Tara and go get pedicures and then just talk for a long time.  Later when I was telling dad some of the things we talked about he said "you are tara covered a lot of ground;)" She is the best!  THen I  got to go on a really special nice date with dad that he planned.  He had bought tickets to go see Fiddler on the Roof at Hale Center theater for Christmas.  Then one of the parents on his Stingers baseball team gave him a $100 certificate to a nice seafood restaurant to say thank you for coaching all those years.  So we did that before the play.  It was just a relaxing, nice, so entertaining night.  I loved it.   BLake, Clara and I have been cranking on puzzles since Christmas. We just finished our 8th one (we alwys do 500 pieces ones), and have started doign the puzzle share at the library to get new ones. We boght new couches nad chairs for the living room and they are all so nice and such a better situation. Our borken couch got dumped yesterday. Sunday School was excellent today.  Katie had everyone just share some insights from the scriptures that they have had doing come follow me the last few weeks.  Then she wrote the references down on they board and a word that represented what they had said and once she had 6-7 of them we went back and talked about them more in depth. I thought it was excellent.  We have some great lovers of the scriptures in our ward.  One thing I have been thinking about is that "if you want to short circuit the pride cycle, turn to the Word.  The Word of God (scriptures etc) will humble you in such a way that you dont have pride. You are still not being compelled to be humble all the time through experiences but staying humble through the Word.  Scriptures get rid of pride if you are seriously studying them.   ROBBIE  yoyo aubrie what up lowk didn't really do anything sick this week just went to school and been playing baseball.
