Pre-Easter party

I love to come up with fun ways to play with the kids. However, sometimes I tell Ryan that I don't want them to be TOO fun or then I have to do it 15X every day for minimum 2 weeks.
We busted out the easter eggs the other day and they wanted to play with them so we decided to have a lunch easter egg hunt and I sorted out their lunch into the different eggs and hid them. They thought it was SO exciting and they ate every last bite (Especially the marshmellow bites) and wanted to have dinner easter egg hunt, breakfast easter egg hunt....

It was cool!
(sidenote: yes I did say lunch Easter eggg hunt and yes those are pj's Aub has on :))

and tell me if those cheeks dont look down right kissable!!!

I was putting Robbie to bed last night.
Robbie: Mom, I want a light on
Me: There is a light on--the bathroom light is on and I cracked the door
Robbie: I want the moon to be in here
Me: Well, moons can't really come into bedrooms, they just stay outside
Robbie: Can it crawl in here (Hallie just started crawling so its on his mind)
Me: Uh, no, moon's don't really crawl ?????? (how do I explain :))
Robbie: Oh, only babies crawl mom. Moons don't crawl.

At breakfast this morning...

Aubrie: Mom, guess what I was dreamed about last night
Mom: What did you dream about?
Aubrie: (having watched a Veggie Tales video about Shadrach and the boys and King Nebby :)) Those 3 boys were thrown into the fire by the king that tried to burn them. I was Superman and I just flew in there with my cape and "saved the day (fists punching into the air)". it was a really good dream mom.

And yesterday I was trying to put Robbie down for a nap which usually means laying by him until he falls asleep. I could tell he was sleepy. We layed down on the pillows and I closed my eyes and started singing a song softly. He kept hiccuping so loud. I thought to myself he is never going to fall asleep hiccuping like that--and I really wanted him to take a nap. So, I thought (I am laughing even writing this) I think I should just jump up really fast and yell like a monster really loud and it will startle him and get rid of his hiccups. Thinking that made me start laughing and the more I tried to stop the harder I was laughing. Robbie started laughing really hard too. Then after a few minutes I got us settled down and he was still hiccuping and so I jumped up and roared like a lion. Robbie just squealed and hiccuped so loud with a realyl startled look on his face--which quickly turned to a "my mom has lost it" look. That started me laughing even harder. Pretty much it was cracking me up all day. I dont know why it was all so funny to me. Gotta love it!

GT GT

We had such a fun weekend this weekend. After a fun sun-filled day of working outside on Saturday we had a BBQ with some good friends with a few rounds of competitive "around the world" Ping Pong.... I love BBQ's and I love fun people and than EQUALS good times.
Making a cameo appearance--one of the the couples that came and their cute new poodle. The Robbins are the most amazing couple!!!Aubrie and Robbie's new best friend--Sarah (or Cara as Robbie calls her--poor kid is confused). She is so fun...lots of gum, cool cell phone that she shows them all the fun games, activities they can play, paints Aubrie's nails (See picture) and just is really good with them. They get excited to see her. Sarah, if you check our blog....WE LOVE YOU!

Ryan took some pictures of the kids before church today and these were some of the cuter ones...WHY is it so hard (Charis....HELP! :)) Hallie was sleeping....we DO count her as one of the kids.

Okay, this wasactually a few weekends ago. We had a game night and the kids had a "sleepover" that really didn't involve any sleeping unfortunately and actually although they were all quietly laying down here in the picture--there wasn't much of that either. We love the Grahams and their kids and it was fun playing games no matter what!
One of Ryan's classmates is from Sri Lanka and when she was over for dinner a few weeks ago we asked her to teach us some dishes. She came over to teach us a few curry dishes today and YUMMY!!!! The food was amazing and eating it with hands was fun too! We were all teasing Ryan with his two hand shovel! :)

Our dreams came true... :)

When we go someplace fun and we (meaning Ryan) take a lot of pictures--it is just overwhelming to write about it because I can remember every detail--because we have a picture of every minute.

So, I'll just say that we LOVED going to DisneyWorld (thanks Mary!!!) and we had a detour on the way home to see one of my favorite friends and her family in Jacksonville and then spent a day in Savannah (AMAZING city). Good times all around. Most especially I love being away from phones (well, mostly), internet and our house and being together. We didn't want to come back.

So tired at the end of every day. Cuties!

Mary watched the kids while Ryan and I went on a few rides. Our bellhop at Tower of Terror. We got the VIP treatment (meaning NO waiting) since Mary was the manager of all the fun rides :)

Mary set it up for Aubs to meet Belle and the Prince after the show. So cool! They totally stayed in character.
Sweet Hallie just hung out and was amazing the whole time
Yes, we have matching shirts-stenciled by yours truly. We have traditions to uphold here. and in my defense, Ryan, a few people even asked where we got them from :)
Disney resorts are way too much fun.

Savannah was so beautiful and has so much history. We just strapped on the backpack and pushed the stroller for miles to see it all.
