Clara (3rd grade):

bless you to remember of the great gift that you received earlier this year (baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost), draw on that power, be sensitive to its promptings and impressions to reach out to others and in learning and grasping new things

i bless you to pray each night for greater love for your teacher and classmates and for respect and to understand them and to know how to help and serve them

you’ve been blessed with a very sharp mind and a love of learning and a gift to be a peacemaker, use those gifts to help you grow in this coming year

bless you to be forgiving, with physical health for energy

know of the love Heavenly Father has for you, He’s saved you for this time to be in this family and this home and this area at this time

bless you in all your friendships that you’ll be enriching a part of their lives and that they’ll feel the love of their father in heaven through you

bless you to continue to expound on your love of the scriptures and their stories and to use them to help you in building your testimony of Jesus Christ and of HIs gospel

Hallie (9th grade):

bless you with joy and enthusiastic spirit for all the opportunities in freshman year

bless you to have confidence and to try new things and to have confidence in HF’s blessings to study and focus

you’ve been blessed with a thorough gift to pay attention to details, use this in your study habits that you develop this year that will be so important in your study of the gospel and in missions and your future family

bless you to find time to be in the scriptures each day with all the competing demands you have on you

bless you to put the Lord first by taking a few min each day to study the scriptures

bless you as you begin seminary that your love of the gospel of JC will expand and that you can see that your Savior is a personal Savior and he knows you and is keenly aware of you and while his sacrifice is infinite and eternal, it was with you in mind

bless you to have strength to be an example for good among friends that will be facing lots of challenges and i bless you to be a stable influence for good in their lives

bless you to have strength on your own when you need to do what’s right and what HF wants you to do

in times when you feel lonely and no one else is there that you can draw strength on a silent prayer in your heart to realize that HF and JC are right there with you

i bless you to be close to the impressions and promptings of the Holy Ghost, to find ways to serve others

bless you that your mind will be sharpened as you put the Lord first to grasp all the concepts that you’ll bel earning in your classes, that you’ll have honesty and integrity in giving your best effort, and feel comfortable and confident with that effort, and feel at peace with that

bless you to be open to feedback and opportunities for improvement, and be quick to repent from mistakes, seek forgiveness in relationships and family, if you have a humble forgiving heart those relationships will grow and flourish and be meaningful the rest of your life

bless you to be an example for good to your younger siblings and to feel the love of your father in heaven and Jesus christ in all that you do

bless you to have physical health and strength that you need as you’re mindful of eating healthy and exercising and getting enough sleep to be able to perform well in volleyball and sports 

bless you to have enthusiasm and happiness and confidence in everything that you lean into and participate in; through that you will be an influence and example for good

Blake (6th grade):

bless you to know your savior Jesus christ and to know of his love for you

bless you to know of the gifts your father in heaven has given you to be sensitive to others and to connect with so many around you, to be friends with so many around you

bless you to always keep that balance and in treating everyone around you the same no matter their situation

bless you to be a leader by example in your class and to show gratitude to your teachers and to all those that are helping do so much for you, that gratitude will help you stay humble and will bless you in everything you do

bless you to have a focused mind to learn the lessons you need to, where so much of what you learn this coming year will help you prepare for the rest of junior high

bless you to have emotional balance and to recognize that your body will begin changing to grow into a young man and that all the students are going through the same, bless you to be able to be an emotional source of stability for those around you

bless you to have faith in your HF and in the gift of the HG

bless you to remember to be on your knees and pray for help that HF really does care about all the little worries and concerns and He will answer your prayers

bless you to recognize the lord’s hand in your life and again will give you a spirit of gratitude to him for all that he does for you

bless you to be able to stay focused in learning math and english and science and history and all the exciting things that are to learn about and to see the relevance of all those things to help you understand more of the plan of salvation and the world around you created for all of us

bless you that your body can continue to grow and be healthy and strong and participate in sports 

bless you to be a good teammate and a cheerleader for those around you and for your siblings and to take time to understand their interests and what’s troubling them and what they’re excited about

bless you to find ways to serve here in the home and our neighbors 

bless you this school year as you’re turning 12 that you’ll prepare to receive the Aaronic priesthood and to be a deacon and take time to think about what it means to be a priesthood holder and to represent the Savior and participate in the sacrament and helping serve so that others can benefit from that ordinance

Robbie (11th grade):

bless you with comfort and guidance and direction

bless you to know how much HF loves you and that he has blessed you with a special heart that is sensitive to others and observant mind that's aware of your surroundings 

bless you to know of those gifts to help guide you in your life and to use them as opportunities to serve others and to help build HF's kingdom on the earth; it is as simple as being aware of others that have been left out or hurt and reaching out to them when others may not

bless you to remember the priesthood that you hold and to be an example of doing what the Lord would do in your place

bless you to have integrity and humility to repent to seek forgiveness from others when you make mistakes and to repent often and sincerely

bless you that you'll have the HG with you in abundance

bless you to understand the importance of this coming year, to stay focused and organized, to stay on top of your studies and the things you need to do with all the other competing demands from sports and everything else

bless you to stay on task 

bless you that the guidance you'll receive to do that will largely come from keeping the Lord central in your life

bless you to do that in seminary and through your calling and through your willingness to serve in priesthood responsibilities

bless you in the coming year that you'll start dating and find happiness and joy from being able to do that and to date in accordance with the guidance of the prophets 

bless you to be creative in dating and to make sure that you're getting to know the girls you're with and as a priesthood holder to treat the women in your life with respect and with dignity and to treat them as the potential queens that they are and as daughters of God

bless you to have the power to withstand temptations and to be a strength for good in your circle of friends and all those around you

bless you to find strength from fasting and from prayer and scripture study 

bless you to have confidence in your abilities and to participate in becoming an engaged learner in classroom, seminary, church

all of that will help prepare you for the coming years for missionary service and college and as a husband and father and for all that is ahead of you

bless you to find joy in your family and seeking for balance in your life in all things and to not run faster than is needful as the scriptures say and to find ways to stop and slow down life and to find stillness and peace so that the HG can whisper guidance to you

Mom (turned 44 yesterday!):

bless you with comfort and guidance and inspiration from your HF 

bless you to know of the good that you do is all recognized by your HF and so much of what you do even that goes unseen is all recognized and appreciated 

bless you to have assurance and of knowledge of that is being of a disciple of JC and what He would do which is the quiet moments of service and of reaching out to others and helping especially in the walls of your own home

bless you in your role of wife and mother to be filled with love and the HG and HF's love and to see your family and all those around you as He sees them

bless you this coming year to be able to feel close to Luke and his remaining time at home before he starts school and to find time to take care of yourself and to find a proper balance where exercise for both physical and mental and engaging your mind

bless you to have faith in your ability to seek personal revelation, to be able to find that balance in your life

bless you to find ways to build on the talents you've already been given and expound on them and to find ways to use them for good and that will be pleasing to HF

bless you to have a forgiving heart and to also be quick to repent and seek forgiveness of others

bless you with the love of your Hf for your good example and your goodness toward others and your desire to do his will above all else 

bless you to find strength in the scriptures and that you will continue to find joy in studying them and being guided by the spirit to share insights and experiences and scriptures that will help the youth and strengthen their testimonies within your calling and within the family

bless you to be able to find balance in music and sports and the arts and in housework and temple work and work with the kids and yard work and to be able to find joy in each of those things and appreciation to your HF for those opportunities and efforts

bless you to be able to build close friendships with others and to spend time in nurturing those relationships that will help enrich your life and theirs but also help you to find strength and guidance from those relationships

bless you to be a missionary in sharing the gospel with neighbors and friends

bless you to share your testimony often and your experiences and to insert your voice into everything you participate in with more confidence and knowing the good you can contribute

bless you above all to feel closeness to your Savior and know of his love for you and HF's love for you and as you go into the temple to feel the longing they have to have you join them again with your family
