So many changes....

NO pictures because our camera died and of course the battery charger is on its way across the country in our moving van.

Yep, we are officially out of our house--Ryan pulled out of Pemberley in the moving van yesterday afternoon (for those that live in our neighborhood you probably heard him, he honked the whole way out). Robbie was about as sad as I've seen him--the injustice of it all--the BIG "TRUCK" was leaving without him and his own dad was in it. Aubrie has been such a big girl and doing all she can to help me and be obedient etc, such an angel. Hallie is an angel girl and has weathered the CRAZY first week of her life. She was really jaundiced and we had to do phototherapy at home for 4 days or so. She is doing better now and is just a sweet, beautiful girl and I am SO glad to be able to hold her whenever I want now.

I won't lie, I was and am REALLY sad. I love our neighborhood, love working with the youth, love our friends and have loved living in our house--our first home. So many great memories--it is hard to reminisce and think how much FUN we've had here and now we are leaving. And... we've both lived in Utah for 11-12 years. We met here, dated here, matured (somewhat) here and most of our family is here. I did not think it would be this hard to leave.

Thank you to so many wonderful people that have watched our kids, helped pack our house, and brought food and helped clean our house after it was packed. I am not sure what we would have done the last 2 weeks without such amazing people around us. We love you so much!

Ryan has taught Robbie and Aubrie to say "Go Cougars" and learn the fight song. Now the last couple of weeks he's been teaching Robbie to say "Go Dawgs"--and he has learned it. Good thing that Georgia is so beautiful and green. And, good thing we have some family out there in the immediate area as well as two brothers in neighboring states. Here we come! :)

Lil' pechocha mama

and we were off...at 630 AM
"laboring together" as ryan says :)

Just the FIVE of us!!!!! yeah!!!!

oh i love this boy. he was more interested in the cookies and juice....for sure...but still that "baby" was intriguing...especially her eyes--which he promptly poked.

Aubrie was in heaven. "her" Hallie had arrived. She was really precious with her. She said right away to the nurse "what if we call her Hallie?" and "we need to paint her nails like mine..she is a girl. " She was especially fascinated by everything the nurses did. I quite enjoyed watching her watching them.

Sweet little girl.

Aubrie was very concerned as to how Hallie was going to eat from mom's "tummy"--here she was checking for teeth. (and I am not kidding--that is exactly what she told me she was doing)

she is a little darling. She came so fast and we are just really glad that she is here with us now!

Happy MOTHERS DAY to all! I really do enjoy being a mother and feel grateful to be able to do so. I know that it is a blessing to be able to have children that are healthy! (Wouldn't HAVING a baby on Mother's day be a real treat:)

Few randoms as of late....

Aubrie practicing her reading and writing. This has been a good activity for me to do with her SITTING on the couch (lately anyway).

Aubrie is my numero uno helper. She is the bomb! If she can help and feels useful, she is happiest I think. I was amazed how she stuck with me for an hour to get our van cleaned inside and out. This picture was taken right after I walked out of the house with the camera, slipped in the water and the camera went flying 10 feet into the air. It still works--hallelujah.

--No person was harmed in the taking of this picture--. :)

Aubrie helping me clean, organize the baby's clothes and choose an outfit to take to the hospital. I wish everyone could have heard her going through the clothes.. "ohhhhh, mom, this is SOOOOOOOOO cute" "LOOOOOOKKKKKKK", etc, etc. (with her high-pitched voice--you know!)

Our beloved Pattita-linda got married a few weeks ago. Her family was not able to come from Chile and so the night before she got married all of the old roomies (minus Becs) went and stayed at a hotel together to keep Patti company on her big pre-wedding night. It was absolutely ridiculous and so fun! These girls are nuts. Mindi--always causing an uproar wherever she goes.... (Becca, you should've seen her and anna, they were in prime form--stealing clothes, demanding ransom, lots of laughing and pillow throwing. GT GT! Poor Patti, barely slept at all.) Sure do love all of you!

I am not joking, this is Aubrie and Robbie 50% of the time they are awake it seems (reading, not in their pj's...well maybe that too! :) LOVE IT! Gonna be such studious folks.

Playing puppy. One gets a leash on and pants and barks while the other walks them around, gets a bowl of water and fills it up to give them food and water.
