When I am evaluating my feelings, my motives and the things I am a witness about regarding my own spirituality and beliefs, who do I think on first, who is the louder voice in my head between the World and God. I am consuming more information/"testimonies"/discussion that is from the World than I am from those who serve God. I am allowing it to me louder in my life.

Today I felt a stirring to really help our children be better prepared; to have a more "sure foundation". Each year will bring more opportunities for them to become more independent of us as their parents and have a higher percentage of time to be with others that might not care/share or desire to have the same type of foundation.
-Can we prepare better for our FHE to think/pray/study about what to teach for our lesson during FHE. I would do it for teaching YW, Primary or giving a talk. Why not give similar effort to teaching our kids.
-How can grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, good neighbors, help reinforce goodness to our kids (and to us for that matter). How can we more frequently put our kids/ourselves in places to be influenced by our families?
-Temple worship--it is a constant struggle for us to be consistent in going. It is absolutely worth the effort to be consistent. Mom and dad farmed us all out to different homes for the weekend regularly to take the bus 12 hours up to Atlanta to go to the temple all day Saturday. When dad was stake president they organized monthly buses up to Orlando 4 hours away and he was almost always on that bus--sometimes with mom, sometimes she needed to be home our family's schedule. I always knew it was important to them. And now we can pass that significance onto our kids by showing what it means to be able to go.
