a guest blogger

it almost counts its been so long since I've posted.  hi, this is me, Amber.  the long lost.

Well, let the festivities begin.  We are playing as hard as we know how trying to get all of the fun things with the fun people that we can while we are in Utah.

We drove straight here with a 2 hour pit stop at a rest area.  LONG trip, but kids were amazing and it was good times.  We love our podcasts and kids audio books.  We also made a quick stop at Cabella's headquarters to see the "animals" (Andy or Amy, I saw a camo bikini for ya'll :)).

So, we are here in Utah for the beautiful spring and loving it.  We spend about a week in SLC with the Jensens and had SO much fun.  Jay--our brother (in-law for some of us)--is now in the MTC on his way to Thailand.  WE had parties, dance parties, running, playing with Maggie (the dog), birthday parties.  Okay, jensens=parties.  LOVE them all.

Then we came down to Orem for a few FUN filled days of lots of kids, diapers, meals, baths etc because Jordans were in Europe and we watched their 3 kids for a few days.  Good times!

Now, we are still in Orem, continuing our fun (with Jeff and Anna back :)) and playing with Lita (grandma's) 10 chicks, bike rides up the canyon, parks and LOTS of trampoline, bike and sandbox time.  Needless to say we end each day with gray bath water, and VERY tired kids.  I LOVE that.  They are playing so hard.

One small glitch in the system is that Ryan left a week and a half ago to go back to GA to finish school and we REALLY miss him.  Aubrie and him end each night talking on the phone and she just cuddles up under the covers and talks to him. It is really cute and I LOVE just sitting there listening. We sure love Ryan.

I'll post pictures later.  Not sure where my camera friend is right now (I'll find it Ryan!! :).

Oh the places we go...

She is crawling...happy day. Now she can semi keep up with her siblings. And she is really cute about it.
At our "tea/chocolate milk" party the other day the kids decided to play Santa and reindeer--naturally--and if you were Santa you got in the laundry basket. The reindeer hooked themselves up with robes and off they went. They ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. I did too. So creative.
Mister Helpy
Russell came to visit for the weekend!!!

Golfing at the UGA course (that was Ryan's Christmas present and apparently I am not good enough at golfing because Russ had to come all the way from DC to go with him :) You kinda look like twins guys!
YUMMY semi-authentic Cuban food. Who cares that it was a Friday night and we were the only ones not in the 19-24 year old range/drunk. Good times. And for those of you that know Russ--check out that bag of juices--poor guy we weren't feeding him enough.
Aubrie, Russ and Ryan at the UGA baseball game. Bag of popcorn=3 innings (AT LEAST)
Who loves Russ? EVERYONE!
Aubrie's first soccer game. We are at it again. I am one of her coaches and her friend Charlie is on the team-- so she wanted to play again. We'll see if soccer sticks. Cross my fingers.
