Aubrie was in all day kindergarten in GA but switched to 2.5 hours in NH (which she LOVED) and now has to get used to all day again. She just started coming home on the bus too which is very exciting. "I really like looking out the window, mom....and not wearing my seatbelt" of course. We miss her here--especially Robbie--but she likes school and has a great teacher. Robbie and I started "Mom and Robbie" school today. He asked me "can I do this for as long as Aubrie is at school, so when I get done, she comes home?"

I love my Grandpa Haynie and enjoy anytime that we get to spend with him. He loves kids too. Him and Hallie were enjoying a bag of cereal while we took family pictures. 14 adults and 14 kids is a fun time with family pictures...more of those to come.

Grandma Jensen is SOOOOOO fun (As Aubrie says). She took the 2 oldest one day and they were gone most of the day just doing fun things. They loved her "cool, fast" car and they LOVED going to the movies. they saw How to Train a Dragon. Robbie hadn't ever been to a movie theater before and he was wowed. I LOVE this picture. It is just so Karen with her grandkids.


and the very last thing we did in Utah, was one of my favorites....our family (my siblings) reunion. We spent a few days in Utah Valley doing fun things and then went up to a cabin in Heber and just rode motorcycles and fourwheelers for 3 days straight. We had SOOO much fun. Robbie still mentions it almost daily. It was muddy, lots of outdoors and who doesn't love fourwheeling?

This is dad starting off the reunion with the theme "Get a Grip (to the iron rod)" It was so great. In one hand is the logo for our reunion shirts and the other is the iron rod. :) Curtis leading the kids in warm up prior to the Family Olympics...Syd in the middle of her relay....its big time.

We love all our family so much. The cabin time was fun to have the kids all play together ALL day and then go to bed and the adults got to have fun playing games, having financial planning sessions :) (it was GREAT!), talking and watching movies....and eating of course. It was AWESOME! We left from Heber to begin the long 40 hour drive back home and it was not 1/2 as much fun on the way home. We were so glad to drive into our driveway :)

Its over already!?!?!

Summer has just flown by...and it already feels gone because it has been 65 degrees outside and rainy for 2 days with another few to follow. Oh how I love thee summer....come back for a little longer.

We returned home to NH from Utah/Co 2 weeks ago just in time to have our family's week of birthdays and our anniversary with a last minute trip for Ryan and I to Portland, ME for our anniversary (WOW!) for 3 days. Karla and Dave watched the kids (whom were not really interested in returning home with us when we picked them up at the lake house at Lake W (I cant spell it). Robbie told me he wanted to live there now. Yeah, me too. So we stayed the night at the lake Sat and spent some time with Dave and Karla and the Smoots (you guys are SOOOO fun! We love you!) and came home yesterday morning early. and I am NOT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE FOR A LONG TIME.

I have spent the whole day today cleaning because I felt like my life had been unorganized for way too long. I feel a little better now :)

One of my favorite parts of the reunion--sharing time and talent shows. Grandpa shared parts of some letters between he and Grandma and I thought it was just amazing. I loved hearing it.

One day at Mom and Dad's and then off to the Pratt reunion (my grandma Haynie's family) with 300 people. i can't believe how well organized they are with so many people. I love going. I don't have pictures of that reunion because Ryan flew back to NH to work and he is the picture taker of the family. It was up at Heber Valley camp which is amazing. All I'll say about the Pratts is that I am pretty sure they are as close to a Celestial people as are out there. Good gente.

Then we hung out at Anna and Jeff's for 60 weeks--at least thats probably how it felt to them. To be honest I am not sure how they were so patient with us being there and them having a newborn of 2 weeks. But we LOVE being there SO MUCH!!! We did some fun things with the kids...biked from Anna's to Bridal Veil and back (and Jack Robbie and Bricky biked the whole 11-12 miles), went to BYU, went to Scera pool, went to the Orem library and did our own storytime, and lots of hanging out riding bikes, running through sprinklers etc, etc. Great memories!!
Candy counter at BYU...a must. (there are HUGE decisions to be made at the candy counter....) Rolling down the hill outside the HBL library...a must.

During the time we were at Anna's, Lindsay and "baby Ande" surprised my mom and came to Utah early. We headed down to Sanford, CO for some Mortensen time. Again, no pictures except for one of my favorite things we did, was dye shirts and run a race with some of the girl cousins+Dixie+Chas. It was so fun. I love you cousins!
